My special interest in medicine developed already in the time I studied at Medical School as I had the possibility to do elective studies in variety of medical specialties. Once I finished my undergraduate studies and my GP training, I applied for trainings posts to be a specialist in Obstetrics /Gyneacology in the United Kingdom. I had the opportunity to work with Prof Jeremy T. Wright in London in a tertial referral center for laparoscopical surgery (esp. Endometriosis). Patients from all over Europe were referred to his clinic to be seen and operated. In the same gynaecological department, I even had the chance to work with urogyaenological (weak bladder) specialist who had received their training from Professor Stewart Stanton and the world-renowned Professor Linda Cardozo. Hence, I had extensive training in conservative and surgical treatments in the field of urinary incontinence.

Due to the huge centralized obstetrical centers in the UK which are there for optimal care of women and their un- and newborn ones, made it possible for me to get a lot of routine as well.

My wife and I have led a private clinic in Austria / Salzburg for 20 years very successfully, and our dream came true when we returned to Namibia to live and work here.
